summary: The Kannagi family are masters of the art of fire manipulation, and have used their abilities to defeat evil spirits for generations. Ayano Kannagi is a hot-headed girl who is the heir to house Kannagi. She inherited the scared sword of flame called Enraiha after easily defeating her cousin Kazuma Yagami during their youths. Unlike most members of the Kannagi house, Kazuma has no talent for the fire arts and his defeat was a disgrace. Kazuma changed his surname to Yagami and fled abroad where he formed a contract with the spirit of wind and began practicing the arts of wind. It has been four years, and Kazuma returns to Japan more mature and as a master of the art of wind. Mysteriously, some members of the Kannagi house were brutally murdered. All evidence say that it was the work of a powerful wind user. Of course, Ayano and others suspect Kazuma and believe he is seeking revenge. Kazuma is innocent, but he knows he now must wage war against the entire Kannagi house. Although he does not entirely despise the idea, he also does not like being manipulated from the shadows. |
