Dragon anime synopsis
/
summary: Shu is an energetic 10 year old boy who dreams of one day becoming a Night Master, said to be the strongest and most heroic swordsmen in the land. But first Shu has to find one and then somehow convince the Night Master to make him his page. When his childhood friend, Kluke, tells him that a Night Master is visiting their town, Shu hurries back to town to seek him out. Shu employs a method of randomly attacking strangers in the hope that the true Night Master will easily avoid the attack. Shu finds his match when his attack is stopped by a young female mercenary named Zora. Although Zora denied being a Night Master, it was obvious to Shu that she and her apprentice Jiro were skilled fighters. Shu’s town is later attacked the army of Nene, who set out to round up all the children as part of Nene’s grand schemes for world domination. Shu locates Zora an Jiro and pleads with them to help his town, but Zora refuses and implies that Shu must use his own strength to save his friends and family. Undaunted, Shu gathers his friends to fight Nene’s soldiers but are easily overpowered and captured. After seeing Shu’s determination, Zora decides to lend a hand and attacks the enemy general. Everyone is in awe when both the general and Zora summon giant monsters from their own shadows to do battle. A stray energy attack hits a cliffside and sends large boulders crashing down on Kluke and other villagers below. Shu instinctively rushes forward and asks to be granted the strength to save his friends. To Shu’s amazement, a giant blue dragon is summoned from his own shadow and saves the villagers. The Blue Dragon is one of the most powerful monsters known to exist and now Shu has become its master. |
